This comprehensive course equips educators with essential knowledge and skills in Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Participants will explore key SEL concepts, trauma-informed practices, and cultural responsiveness. Participants will earn 70 professional development hours and will be eligible to add RIDE SEL endorsement to their teaching license.

Stephanie joined NE Basecamp in 2023, bringing a wealth of experience in curriculum design, instructional leadership, and multi-tiered systems of support. She holds a Master of Education in School Leadership and a Master of Science in Psychology, with certifications in elementary education, middle grades ELA, ESL, literacy, and K-12 administration. Before NE Basecamp, Stephanie worked as an instructional lead teacher, literacy coach, and district literacy specialist, with a background in studying evidence-based interventions in public health settings.

Peter Siner, who joined NE Basecamp in 2017, specializes in educational technology and instructional leadership. He holds a Master of Education in Educational Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education. With experience teaching middle and high school history, Peter pioneered personalized learning strategies and now focuses on integrating technology, differentiated instruction, and data-driven approaches. As a Google Innovator and AI Specialist, he also manages NE Basecamp’s digital presence, enhancing outreach through web design, social media, and multimedia content.
